We are the Story Makers, we love to think up new worlds, fill them with characters and send them on adventures.
Join us in one of our workshops and together we'll dream up a new and wonderful story. And then we'll act it out!
Doug Storymaker
Doug is our inventor, he's always creating and building new things.
He has a head full of ideas and loves new adventures. He can make anything!
Jodie Storymaker
Jodie loves to act out different characters and scenes.
She likes to pretend to be different people and also loves to sing a story with her beautiful voice!
Izzy Storymaker
Izzy is full of fun and mischief.
She's everyone's best friend and she is always either singing, dancing or acting out stories to keep us entertained!
Will Storymaker
Will is our technical storymaker. He can make everything more magical with his special effects.
He also keeps us in line by recording all our ideas!
Danni Storymaker
Danni is full of love. She is never happier than when she's joining in with all her friends, acting out a story.
She makes sure that everyone is cared for and is having a great time!
Shrewsbury Folk Festival
We are running two free Story Makers workshops at Shrewsbury Folk Festival for 2025:
Saturday 23rd
1pm - 2pm
Sunday 24th
2.30pm - 3.30pm
Just drop in, you'll find us over in the Pandemonium area.
About Us
The Story Makers are a group of children's entertainers who provide creative storytelling, drama and puppetry workshops.
The group bring together a wide range of skills gained in professional roles in Primary Education and Theatre.
